A word of Introduction to all our readers,

A new magazine for God's Covenant Nations

It is with great pleasure that The Board of Management of B.I.W.F. send you this first issue of our new publication The Covenant Nations. This larger format magazine is designed to raise the profile of our witness to the Covenant People worldwide. The issues that we are facing as God's company of nations have now become Highly critical and to the point where a more powerful voice of guidance is required to be raised.

It is the aim of the Editorial Team to include a new wider range of articles on British Israel teaching and evidences, as well as comment and news on current events. it will be 30 years exactly in August from 1977 when the Federation launched its magazine Wake Up!, which was an endeavor to link the family of the Covenant People around the world.

At that time it was felt that reading habits had changed to the point where people who were busy needed shorter articles than those which were published in our former magazine The National Message. Over the years we have always sought to update our publications to create fresh awareness and new interest. The need now is for a greater authority as there is so much information coming throiugh the internet and the media in general. It is vital that the full Gospel of the Kingdom us expounded as proclaimed by Jesus Christ and His herald John The Baptist.

It is now 170 years since 1837 when, at aged 58, John Wilson began to study the British Israil teaching - Queen Victoria's accession taking place on 20th June of that year. This pioneer of the Kingdom witness first published his famous work Our Israelitish Origin in August 1840. By remarkable timing very day this introduction is being written, two pictures of John Wilson have been found and have arrived on our desk.

Let us therefore take this as a witness to what we are setting out to achieve at this crucial time for the Kingdom of God upon Earth. May we dedicate ourselves to the spreading of this new publication far and wide as the Lord our God, the God of Israel, directs. A great awakening is coming in which His Righteousness will once again exalt the Covenant Nations in preparation for His Glorious Return.
