Javier Milei, an economist and rising political star in Argentina, recently stunned his audience at the World Economic  Forum, in a prolonged and passionate assault on socialism and its impact, especially on the lives of ordinary people.

Javier Milei comes from Argentina which in the 19th century and into the early 20th century was one of  the richest countries in the world.

Then the country fell under the grip of left-wing governments, military juntas and dictatorships, all of which turned Argentina from.riches to poverty complete with raging inflation.

Javier used Argentina as a case - study into how to beggar a nation.
