The highest building in the world breaks through 2,520 ft for the first time in history. The Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai opened January 4, 2010. Significantly the site in Dubai is in the south of what was the ancient Mesopotamian empire where the Tower of Babel was constructed. That tower was not completed and brought the judgment of confused language upon the builders.
When the hand of God wrote on the wall of King Belzhazzar's palace in Babylon with the words MENE, MENE, TEKEL UPHARSIN (Daniel 5:26), these were monetary values which came to a total of 2,520. Daniel knew that it meant the false economic system of Babylon was weighed in the balances and would fall the same night to the Medes and Persians, which it did, Belshazzar himself being slain. Does this new Tower of Babel foreshadow the approach of a further financial collapse which will have the effect of releasing us from the present false economic system of credit finance?
